Q: How long do custom orthoses take to make?

A: Usually 2-3 weeks depending on lab workflow and any extra testing (e.g. pressure mapping)

Q: Will they fit into my shoes?

A: We fit orthoses to your common footwear and advise on shoes that offer appropriate depth, stability and heel counter support.

Q: Are they covered with insurance?

A: Coverage varies - we can only provide a quote and codes that are needed for private health or insurance rebates.

Q: Can children have custom orthoses?

A: Yes - Children can benefit, but prescription and follow-up differ as feet are growing.

Q: Do I need to exercises as well?

A: Yes. Orthoses correct mechanics, but strengthening and stretching help with long-term outcomes.
